Version History

Transparency through continuous improvement.

Version 1.0 Updated July 8, 2026

Transparency through continuous improvement.

WHOLE is committed to openness, accountability and continuous improvement.

As our platform evolves, our Standards, policies, technologies and services will also evolve.

This Version History explains how we document significant changes to WHOLE Standards and how members can stay informed about important updates.

We believe transparency builds trust, and maintaining a clear record of meaningful changes is part of that commitment.

Why documents change

Healthcare, technology, artificial intelligence and privacy legislation continue to evolve.

Updates may become necessary to:

  • improve clarity;
  • reflect new scientific evidence;
  • strengthen privacy protections;
  • improve platform security;
  • introduce new WHOLE services;
  • support new artificial intelligence capabilities;
  • comply with changes in legislation or regulatory requirements;
  • improve the member experience.

Our Standards are living documents designed to grow alongside WHOLE.

How versioning works

Each WHOLE Standards document includes:

  • Version number
  • Effective date
  • Last updated date

These details help members understand when information has changed and ensure they are reading the most current version.

Minor editorial improvements may not always require a new version number, while significant updates will be reflected through a version change.

How members are informed

Where significant changes materially affect members, WHOLE may notify users through one or more of the following:

  • In-app notifications
  • Email communications
  • Updates within WHOLE Standards
  • Platform announcements
  • Release notes

The method of communication will depend on the nature and significance of the update.
